Remove fuel line and fitting (13), Figure 5-7, from fuel pickup assembly (11), and install tee (12).

Install fuel and elbow (13) and adapter (6), to tee (12).
20.
Install butt splice (2) to adapter (6) using clamp (1).
21.
Remove and discard the left hexagon head screw from the coolant recovery bottle bracket.

Attach fuel pump (4), Figure 5-7, using clamp (5) and screw (9).
23.
Install butt splice (2) to fuel pump using clamp (1). Install tubing (3) to butt splice (2) on fuel pump and adapter (6)
using clamp (1).
NOTE
The proper connection of fuel lines using a hose is a butt joint as shown in Figure 5-7.
24.
Install butt splice (8), Figure 5-7, to fuel pump. Install tubing (7) from butt splice on heater fuel intake to
butt splice (8) on fuel pump using clamps (14).
