b. Remove connector parts.
(1) Refer to Appendix G, Tables G-1 and G-2 for proper removal tool, remove pins (1) from support group (2).
NOTE
If only one pin is damaged, it is necessary to cut all cable wires and replace all pins so
the wires will be equal in length. If wires are uneven it will not be possible to reassemble
connector.
(2) Using hacksaw, cut through cable at least one inch (2.5 cm) from end of cable jacket.
