WARNING
Before disconnecting any coolant lines, let generator cool from
operation, then relieve pressure by opening radiator cap carefully.
Coolant is hot and under pressure and may cause burns.
8.
Drain coolant system in accordance with TM 9-6115-644-24.
NOTE
Seal all pipe threads with sealing compound provided in kit.
9.
Remove plug from rear of engine head (refer to engine TM 9-6115-255-24) and install adapter (1), bushing (2) and
elbow (3), Figure 5-3.
10.
Install coolant hose (5) to elbow (3) and secure with clamp (4).
11.
Install the other end of the coolant hose (5) to heater coolant intake using clamp (4).
12.
Provide a .206-.224 diameter hole 1.5" above left side door flange and 4" from door hinge flange.
