SCOPE.
a.
Instructions in this section apply to the DISE and PDISE equipment to
prepare it for storage or shipment.
b.
Instructions pertaining to administrative storage are covered in SB
740-99-9, storage serviceability standard for TROSCOM material.

(1) Remove rust, corrosion,
and flaked and peeling paint.

surfaces to be painted are dry.

(2) Mask connectors and data plates,
that are not to be painted,
with masking tape (item 10, App E).
