If removed, install output box EMI seals (55) on door sill (37), comer post (36), and right side panel (50) with
adhesive (Item 1, Appendix C). Ensure closed side of seal faces outward.

Install top housing panel, paragraph 2-16-4, step n.
m. Install ether solenoid valve, paragraph 2-95-3.
n. Install fuel float module, paragraph 2-93-4.
0. Install auxiliary fuel pump, paragraph 2-87-4.
p. Install fuel filler neck, paragraph 2-88-3.

Install air cleaner access door, rear engine access doors, paragraph 2-14-4.

Install load terminal board access door and output box access door, paragraph 2-14-4.
NOTE
Output box EMI seals are primary suppression components. Ensure that a complete
seal is made between output box door and generator set.

Inspection.
Shut down generator set.
Inspect control box assembly for cracks, breaks, corrosion, loose paint, and missing parts.
Removal.
Shut down generator set.
Open battery access door and disconnect negative battery cable.
Remove control box top panel, paragraph 2-15-1.
Open output box access door and disconnect two control box harness connectors.
Remove bolts (1 and 5, FIGURE 2-1 0), Iockwashers (2), flatwashers (3), nuts (4), and control box assembly (6)
from generator set.
Repair.
Repair control box assembly by replacing damaged terminals, damaged or missing hardware, and damaged or
defective components.
2-19-4 Installation
a. Install control box assembly (6, FIGURE 2-10) on generator set with bolts (1 ) and (5), flatwashers (3), lockwash-
ers (2), and nuts (4).
b. Connect two control box harness connectors.
