INSPECTION
1.
On EMCP, set ENGINE CONTROL switch to OFF/RESET and let cool.
2.
Open both engine access doors.
3.
Inspect engine assembly for oil leaks.
4.
Check for damage, proper mounting, or missing parts.
CAUTION
The dipstick is marked so that the crankcase oil can be checked while engine is stopped or running.
Always make sure dipstick is checked. Remove oil filler cap when checking oil with engine
running.
5.
Remove oil dipstick (1) to check engine crankcase oil level. Dipstick is marked on both sides for stopped or running
engine. If crankcase oil level is below ADD mark on dipstick, for either stopped or running engine, perform SERVICE
task.
6.
Close both engine access doors.

SERVICE
1.
On EMCP, set ENGINE CONTROL switch to OFF/RESET and let engine cool.
2.
Open right engine access door.
3.
Remove oil filler cap (2).
4.
Add oil to engine crankcase for operations temperature range per Table 1.
