Valves removed (para 6.7.).
Engine shut down and allowed to cool completely.
Materials/Parts

TEST
a. Remove valve (perform step a thru f of REPLACE, para 6.7.).
b. Refer to Figure 6-7 (Sheet 1) and measure width of contact between valve face and valve seat.
Contact should be 0.0835 in. (2.12 mm).
c. If width of contact is excessive or uneven, adjust seat.
