d. Remove water flange (para 6.33.).
e. Install water flange and gasket on new cylinder head (para 6.33.).
f. Install new cylinder head (1) and cylinder head gasket (3), Figure 6-2, sheet 4.
g. Apply lubricating oil to screws (2) used to secure cylinder head.
h. Refer to sheet 3 and secure cylinder head to engine block in the following order: Torque
cylinder head bolts in increments of 10ft-lbs, 1 through 9, 11 through 13, 14, 10. Torque
between 28.9 and 32.5 ft-lbs (4.0 to 4.5 kg-fm).
i. Run engine for 30 minutes and tighten screws to torque values in step h.

CAUTION
When installing, take care not to damage the head
gasket and cylinder head gasket (3).
