Strip lead no more than 1/4 in. (6.35 cm).

Using crimping tool, crimp pin to lead.

Push pin back into connector body.
c. Solder pins and jacks.

Remove pins or jacks from connector body.
(2)
Carefully cut away insulation sleeving and expose soldered connection.
(3)
Unsolder and remove wire leads from terminals.
(4)
Slide insulation sleeving over the wire leads. Solder wire leads to appropriate pins and
jacks.
(5)
Slide insulation sleeving over soldered connection. Use heat gun set on heat mode to
shrink sleeving and secure soldered connection.
(6)
Use heat gun set on cool mode to cool soldered connection and sleeving.
(7)
Install pins or jacks from connector body.
