j. Cut wire ties (6) securing overflow hose (4) to upper radiator supports (7).
k. Remove damp (1, FIGURE 3-4) and disconnect hose (2) from overflow bottle assembly (5).

Remove bolts (3), Iookwashers (4), and overflow bottle assembly (5) from right side of engine.
m. Remove exhaust pipe clamp (1, FIGURE 3-5) at turbocharger outlet.

Remove nuts (2), Iookwashers (3), flat washers (5) and bolts (4) securing top housing section (10) to front
housing.
o.
Remove assembled nuts (6) and bolts (7) securing top housing section (10) to rear side panels.
p.
Remove assembled nut (8) and bolt (9) securing top housing section (10) to output box angle.
q. Using a lifting device, remove top housing section assembly (10) from generator set.
r.
Remove fan guards, refer to paragraph 2-78-2.
s.
Remove bolts (1, FIGURE 3.6), washers (3), Iookwashers (2), and shroud(4) from radiator assembly (23). Allow
shroud (4) to lay on fan (7).

Remove bolts (5), Iockwashers (6), fan (7), spacer (6), and shroud (4).
u.
Remove nuts (9), Iookwashers (10), bolts (11), and washers (12) securing support rods (13) to engine lifting
bracket.
v.
Loosen damp (14) at thermostat housing and disconnect hose (15).
w. Loosen clamp(16) at water pump and disconnect hose (17).
x.
Loosen clamp (18) and disconnect hose (19) from radiator drain valve (20).
