Open left side engine access door. Open engine block drain valve (1, FIGURE 2-32) and drain coolant into suitable
container. Close drain valve.
Remove left side fan guard, paragraph 2.77.2.
Tag and disconnect coolant high temperature switch (2) electrical leads.
Unscrew high temperature switch (2) from lower thermostat housing.

a. Shut down generator set.
b. Remove coolant high temperature switch, paragraph 2.107.2.

Dry cleaning solvent inflammable and toxic to eyes, skin, and respirato-
ry tract. Skin/eye protection required. Avoid repeated/prolonged con-
tact. Good general ventilation is normally adequate.
