NOTE
This PMCS table lists the checks and
services as performed on a single
power unit. These procedures must
be duplicated on each of the two
power units that make up the
AN/MJQ-12A.
Inspect generator set for fuel and oil
leaks, loose or missing components and
hardware, and unusual wear or
deterioration. Clean generator set.
NOTE
Fuel system must be above freezing
temperature when draining water
and sediment from strainer, filters,
and tank.
Open drains on fuel strainer and primary
and secondary fuel filters. Drain
water and sediment. Allow to drain
until fuel runs clean.
Open drains on main fuel tank and day
tank. Drain water and sediment.
Allow to drain until fuel runs clean.
Clean or replace, as necessary, fuel
strainer in bottom of fuel pump.
Perform a hydrometer test on batteries
every 100 hours. Refer to
TM 5-6115-545-12 for test procedures.
