18-7. Transfer Switch Indicating Lamps
a.
Removal. Remove the indicating lamps as
illustrated in figure 18-5.
b.
Installation. Install the indicating lamps as
illustrated in figure 18-5.
18-8. Fuel Tank Cap and Strainer Assembly
a.
Removal. Remove fuel tank cap and pull out the
strainer assembly with the chain.
b.
Cleaning and Inspection.
(1)
Clean metal parts with approved cleaning
solvent and dry thoroughly.
(2)
Inspect cap and strainer for damage and
defects. Inspect strainer screen for holes and gasket for
deterioration.
(3)
Replace a defective fuel tank cap, gasket,
or strainer.
c.
Installation. Place strainer assembly in filler
neck and install cap.
