Reassembly and Installation.
(1)
Reassemble and install the transfer switch
as illustrated in figure 18-5.
(2)
Connect load connections (Fig. 18-7).
18-14. Tarpaulin, Roof Bows, Racks, and Leg Prop
a.
Removal. Remove the tarpaulin, roof bows,
racks, and leg prop (para 18-10).
b.
Repair.
(1)
Patch or sew rips and tears in the
tarpaulin. Replace damaged or missing ropes or straps.
Replace a tarpaulin that is too badly damaged to be
repaired.
(2)
Weld minor cracks or breaks in the bows
and leg prop. Straighten bent bows where possible.
Replace defective or missing pins and hardware.
Replace bows, racks, or leg prop that are damaged
beyond repair.
c.
Installation. Install racks, roof bows, and leg
prop, and install tarpaulin (para 18-10).
