INTRODUCTION.
a.
This appendix includes complete instructions for making items authorized to be manufactured or fabricated at
direct support maintenance level.
b.
A part number index in alphanumeric order is provided for cross-referencing the part number of the item to be
manufactured to the figure which covers fabrication criteria.
c.
All bulk materials needed for manufacture of an item are listed by part number or specification number in
tabular list on the illustration.

GENERAL INFORMATION.
a.
Connector Crimping Tools. The cable and wall mount connectors have pin contacts (male) or socket contacts
(female) that attach to the wires with a four-indent crimp. Table G-1 identifies which tools to use to crimp each type and
size of connector contact. Table G-2 lists the various insert, removal, locator, and crimp tools you need to repair both
cable and wall mount connectors.

NOTE
Cable-type connectors mount on cable ends. Wall-type connectors mount on the
power distribution panel. Use needle-nose pliers to install pins or sockets which
do not have a special installation tool listed.
