GENERAL MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

3-1 MAINTENANCE REPAIR PARTS.
Repair parts and equipment are listed and illustrated in the repair parts and special tools fist manual
TM 9-6115-644-24P.
3-2 TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT.
There are no special tools or support equipment required to perform any level of maintenance on the generator set. A
list of recommended tools and support equipment required to maintain the generator set is contained in Appendix B,
Section Ill.
3-3 FABRICATION OF TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT.
No requirement exists for fabrication of tools and equipment for maintenance of the generator set.
Section Il. TROUBLESHOOTING

DIRECT SUPPORT TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURES.
3-4-1 Purpose of Troubleshooting Table. This section contains troubleshooting information for locating and correcting op-
erating troubles which may develop in the generator set. Each malfunction for an individual component, unit, or system
is followed by a list of tests or inspections which will help you to determine probable causes and corrective actions to take.
You should perform the tests/inspections and corrective actions in the order listed.
This table cannot list all malfunctions that can occur, nor all test or inspections and corrective actions. If a malfunction is
not listed or cannot be corrected by listed corrective actions, notify your supervisor.

Before you use this table, be sure you have performed your PMCS.
