CAUTION
The adjustment setscrew can be damaged by overtightening
the locknut. Tighten the locknut 1/8-turn beyond free-
bottoming.
(3) Tighten locknut on setscrew while maintaining adjustment with hex-wrench.

Open the exhaust silencer bypass door.

Place the instrument panel switches in the following positions:

(1) START-RUN-OFF switch to OFF
(2) BOOST PUMP switch to OFF
(3) AC power CLOSE-TRIP switch to TRIP
(4) AC selector switch to any marked position
Pull VOLTAGE REG circuit breaker.

Press DC CONTROL circuit breaker.

Move START-RUN-OFF switch from OFF to RUN.
NOTE
UNDERSPEED, HIGH EXH TEMP, and OVERSPEED
lamps will illuminate.
Press to test CB CLOSED and LOW OIL PRESS lamps for illumination at this

Move BOOST PUMP switch to BOOST PUMP.
