WARNING
Make sure generator sets are shut down before performing any continuity checks. Failure to
follow this precaution may result in death by electrocution.
Step 4. Perform continuity check on associated generator set power
cable (paragraph 4-19a(4)).
If cable is defective, replace cable (paragraph
4-24b) or refer to higher level of maintenance for
repair.
Step 5. Perform continuity check on switch (paragraph 4-19a(1)).
If switch is defective, notify higher level of
maintenance.
2. POWER IS ABSENT AT ONE OR MORE SWITCH BOX LOAD TERMINALS WHEN EITHER
GENERATOR SET IS OPERATING.
Step 1. Check wire associated with non-functioning load terminal(s)
for loose or broken terminals inside switch box.
Tighten loose connection(s). If any wire terminals
are broken, replace wire (paragraph 4-22b).
Step 2. Perform continuity check on wire from switch to
non-functioning load terminal(s) (paragraph 4-19a(2)).
Replace defective wire(s) (paragraph 4-22b).
Step 3. Perform continuity check on switch (paragraph 4-19a(1)).
If switch is defective, notify higher level of
maintenance.
