GENERATOR SET PU-617/M
Section I. DESCRIPTION AND DATA
2-1. Description
a.
General. The PU-617/M is a self-contained,
mobile, general purpose power supply (Refer to figure
2-1). The set is comprised of two 3 kW, model MEP
016A Military Standard generator sets, mounted on an
M101 trailer, and includes the components listed in
Table 2-1, below. The two generators are powered by
directly coupled 4-cylinder, 6-hp Military Standard
engines. A power transfer switch is provided for
connecting the generators' output to a common load.
