GENERATOR SET PU-629/G
Section I. DESCRIPTION AND DATA
19-1. Description
a.
General. The PU-629/G is a self-contained
mobile, general purpose power supply (Fig. 19-1). The
set is comprised of two 5 kW Model SF 5.0 MD Military
Standard generator sets, mounted on a 1 1/2 ton M103A
trailer, and includes the components listed in table 19-1.
The generators are powered by directly coupled, 2-
cylinder, 10 hp, Military Standard Model 2A042 engines.
A power transfer switch is provided for connecting the
generator outputs to a common load.
