GENERATOR SET PU-401/M
Section I. DESCRIPTION AND DATA
9-1. Description
a.
General. A diesel engine-driven, 45-kw, 400
cycle, ac generator, mounted on a two-wheeled, flatbed
steel body, 2½-ton capacity, model M-200A1 trailer
comprise the Generator Set PU-401/M.
b.
Function. The PU-401/M Generator Set is part
of Defense System, Antiaircraft AN/MSG-4. The unit is a
mobile source of 400-cycle power for the Weapons
Monitoring Center, the Radar Processing Center, and
the Maintenance Van.
c.
