REPLACEMENT
1.
Perform steps 1 thru 6 of removal.
2.
Perform steps 1 thru 5 of install, substituting new fuel pump for the defective one.

INSTALLATION
1.
Install new fuel pump (2) in clamp (7) and secure with screw (11), flat washer (10), lock washer (9), and nut (8).
2.
Install butt splice (5) and fuel line (6) on outlet end of fuel pump (2) and secure with screw clamps (3).
3.
Install fuel line (4) and butt splices (5) on inlet end of fuel pump (2) and secure with screw clamps (3).
4.
Plug in electrical leads at connection (1) on fuel pump (2).
5.
Reconnect negative battery cable.
