EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION AND DATA Continued
LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR COMPONENTS Continued
LOAD BOARD
The load board (figure 1, sheet 2, item 8) connects load cables to the TQG with heavy duty connector lugs and nuts.
RECONNECTION BOARD
The reconnection board (9) is used to change the TQG generator output voltage for different load applications. The TQG
can be configured for 120/208 Vac or 240/416 Vac operation for 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
MAIN CONTACTOR
The main contactor K1 (10) controls generator load output to the load.
AC GENERATOR
The generator (11) used in the 200 kW TQG is Marathon Electric model DOD 751 FR, designed to meet military
applications for the TQG. The generator is a brushless, single bearing, rotating-rectifier generator. It is close-coupled to the
engine via flexible drive disks. Each generator is made up to five major components: main stator (armature), main rotor
(field), exciter stator (field), exciter rotor (armature), and rotating rectifier assembly.
