ENGINE STARTS BUT STOPS WHEN ENGINE CONTROL
SWITCH IS RELEASED FROM START
Engine starts but stops when
ENGINE CONTROL switch is
released from START position.
Check for proper starting procedure. Hold ENGINE
CONTROL switch (8, fig 2-1) in START position
until 25 psi (172 kPa) oil pressure is reached, then
release switch to PRIME & RUN position.
Check FAULT INDICATOR on CIM display
screen. Is a fault displayed? (fig.2-2)
