4.8.
WARNINGS, CAUTIONS, AND NOTES.
Always observe WARNINGS, CAUTIONS, and NOTES appearing in your PMCS table. Warnings and
cautions appear before applicable procedures. You must observe WARNINGS to prevent serious injury or
death to yourself and others. You must observe CAUTIONS to prevent your equipment from being damaged.
You must observe NOTES to ensure procedures are performed properly.
4.9.
APU LUBRICATION INSTRUCTIONS.
4.9.1. Diesel Engine Lubrication Instructions. The APU's engine oil level shall be checked on a daily
basis (para 3.1.). Engine oil shall be replenished as needed. Engine oil and oil filter shall be changed every
100 hours of operation (para 4.14. and 4.15.).
4.9.2. 10 kW Generator Lubrication Instructions. There are no lubrication instructions for the 10 kW
generator.
4.9.3. Army Oil Analysis Program (AOAP). The APU is enrolled in the AOAP. (Refer to AR 738-750.)
