Drain coolant and flush
cooling system. Add
proper coolant. Refer to

Inspect radiator cap for
corrosion, tom or deterio-
rated seal, and obvious
damage.
Remove batteries. Refer
to paragraph 2-12-2.
Clean batteries, cable ter-
minals, and battery posts.
Test batteries for state of
charge. Refer to para-
graph 2-12-1.
Inspect air cleaner assem-
bly and mounting bracket
for cracks, dents, and oth-
er damage. Inspect ele-
ment for clogs and dam-
age. Clean or replace as
necessary. Clean housing
with cleaning cloth.
Remove, clean, and in-
spect tubing and breather.
Refer to paragraph 2-75.
Inspect for loose, dam-
aged, or missing hardware
and sound insulation.
Tighten loose hardware.
Repair or replace dam-
aged or missing hardware
and insulation.
