The implementation of the maintenance functions upon the end item or component willbe consistent with the assigned maintenance functions.c. Section III lists the tools and test equipment required for each maintenance function as referenced fromSection II.d. Section IV contains supplemental instructions, explanatory notes and/or illustrations required for a particularmaintenance function.C-2. Explanation of Columns in Section II.a. Group Number. Column1.The assembly group is a numerical group assigned to each assembly in a topdown breakdown sequence. The applicable assembly groups are listed on the MAC in disassembly sequencebeginning with the first assembly removed in a top down disassembly sequence.b. AssemblyGroup. Column2.This column contains a brief description of the components of each assemblygroup.c. Maintenance Functions. Column3. This column lists the various maintenance functions (A through K) andindicates the lowest maintenance category authorized to perform these functions.
