GENERATOR SET PU-551/G

15-1.
Description
a.
General. A diesel engine-driven, 45-kw, 60-
cycle, ac generator, mounted on a 2 (dual) wheeled,
flatbed steel body, 21/2-ton capacity, model M200A1
trailer, comprise the Generator Set PU-551/G.
b.
Function. The PU-551/G Generator Set is a
general purpose generator set and has multiple
applications.
c.
Generator Sets. For description and further
information on Consolidated Diesel Electric model 4070
sets, refer to applicable technical manuals, as shown on
generator set nameplate or in DA Pam 310-4.
d.
Engine. For description and further information
on the Continental Motors Corporation model TD 427-
2281 diesel engine, refer to applicable technical
manuals, as shown on nameplate or in DA Pam 310-4.
e.
Trailer. For description and further trailer
information, refer to applicable technical manuals, as
